It dares to suggest that each of us is not only the lowly game player, participating in the adventure and stashing away experience points on the way; but also – at a higher level of consciousness – a holographic portion of the designer and creator of The Game itself. Looked at this way, life becomes a cosmic, multi-dimensional, co-creative experience which we are building with every new thought and choice.Just as avid gamers can become so involved in the on-screen adventure that they lose track of what is happening in the wider world, so can we become caught up in the dramas of everyday life, to the point that we forget what is really going on. Using the analogy of a computer RPG (role-player game) throughout, the book offers ideas and insights into how we are creating our lives and the world around us. The reader is encouraged to explore many aspects of the Game of Life through a series of practical activities and challenges which give an enhanced understanding of how to ‘happen to life’ rather than simply allowing life to happen to us. There is even an invitation to consider upgrading to Version 2.0, where the co-creation of life becomes conscious and the options and possibilities are so vast that the only limit is one’s own imagination.
